Was this a good date?

Question by Lil D: Was this a good date?
I took my girlfriend out to the Metropolitan Opera House in new york. We watched about 1/2 of the opera “War and Peace” and we decided to go walk around broadway. (Not as I expected it to be but okay) We got lost when we first were coming to the city, then we got lost again. We called the day “Adventures in the City”. I was planning to take her to a restaurant at the end, but we ended up going to Burger King XD (her choice!). Before we got home, I told her that we’ll take a shortcut (a way which I didn’t know what lead up to). We ended up in some alley, and it was the scariest experience of both of our lives. While we were walking in the dark, 2 huge dogs started barking and were about to jump on us! I took her hand and we started running so fast. (We got out of course…lol) When we got home, she said “Thank you so much for everything! This is the best fun I’ve had! Getting lost in the city, running from dogs, I loved it!” Do I take girls out on adventurous dates? What do u think?

not really. All that was just circumstance wasn’t it? How corny. Seems a bit like you try too hard to be all ‘kooky’ and original. A good shag would be more exciting

But I am concerned about your honesty. You wrote: “it was the scariest experience of both of our lives”. This can not be true. Try never to exaggerate. It’s enough to say: “It was pretty scary”
